E-ISAC

Over the last five years at the E-ISAC, I have leveraged my skill sets to raise the profile of the organization across the electricity industry and security community. This includes website development, email marketing and overall content creation. Below is a sample of my projects.

E-ISAC End-of-Year Report

Over the course of three years, I transformed the E-ISAC’s signature “year-in-review” from a word-heavy, technical document into a visually-focused, accessible report and then to a first-ever video. See the 2023 report here.

GridSecCon Conference Website

GridSecCon is the electricity industry’s premier security conference and hosted by the E-ISAC. For years, the event did not have a true marketing website. For 2025, I created a first-ever conference website using the Cvent platform. The site has provided the E-ISAC with a true forum to promote its conference.

E-ISAC Website

I built a new website for the E-ISAC from the ground-up using Saleforce’s Experience Cloud platform. I also wrote all of the original content and continue to support it with updates and maintenance.

Pulmonary Hypertension Association

As the associate director of digital communications, I led the organization’s web, email and social media efforts. Some of my projects included:

Videos

I teamed up with organization stakeholders to update and modernize the PHA YouTube channel to deliver a better viewing experience for its audiences.

I also worked with a videographer and the communications team to develop new videos. For example, I helped create this trailer to promote two new PHA Classroom videos; it garnered more than 300,000 views.

PHA 2020 Conference Website

When the Pulmonary Hypertension Association needed a new website to feature its 2020 Conference and Scientific Sessions, I created a brand-new, user-friendly site to convey pertinent information along with our web associate. The site was built in-house on the Aventri platform.

I produced content for the organization’s digital products, including its website, email and social media. Here are several examples:

Digital Content

Mental Health Association of Maryland

I served as the primary content manager for the organization’s digital channels, social media and other content mediums.

MHAMD Website

When MHAMD launched its website redesign project, it had two main objectives: bring all of its associated programs to one common digital WordPress home and clearly convey the overall brand of the organization. I worked with MHAMD stakeholders and an outside vendor to originate the concept, imagine the layout and design, and update the content.

Alliance for Aging Research

At the Alliance, I was responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to promote the organization’s activities in coordination with its health education and public policy teams. I also oversee all communications, including PR, digital content, and outreach.

Alliance Website

I worked with the Alliance for Aging Research’s team and an outside developer to migrate the organization’s out-moded website to a WordPress platform. The project focused on three primary objectives: featuring the Alliance’s educational materials, highlighting its public policy work and raising awareness about aging research. The site launched in 2018.

At the Alliance, I was responsible for managing PR outreach. This includes writing all press releases between 2014 and early 2018 and managing PR campaigns. I also had dozens of earned placements, including outlets below:

Media Placements

On the Alliance’s blog, I developed content to promote its programs and its mission. Here are some of these posts:

Writing

At the Alliance, videos played an important role in educating older adults about health issues important to them. I worked with the health education team to promote these videos.

I helped create the first video below on the aging of the U.S. population and how leaders in the public policy and scientific communities plan to respond to it. It was the recipient of a Telly Award. We also took this video and created set of short videos based on the film.

I worked with staff and a D.C. agency to create this second video that had real patients sharing why the research of the National Institutes of Health matters. It was introduced at the 2015 Rally for Medical Research.

CURE International

At CURE International, I served as the organization’s PR spokesperson along with our VP of communications, earning numerous media placements about its global hospital network. During the organization’s rapid response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake, I helped to raise awareness through helping producing a video documentary.
